Sarhad Gas (Private) Limited is engaged in the purchase, storage, bottling and sale of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to households, hotels, restaurants, Tandoors, industries, vehicles and now to everyplace where natural gas cannot be provided.

Our Journey

SGL was conceived in 1999 by Tauseef Gilani our CEO; himself a professional engineer, having 25 years of experience in setting up projects including LPG in the leading Oil & Gas companies of Pakistan. We understood then and we believe now that LPG is the future of Green Energy. Quite fittingly we affirmed LPG to be the fuel for the future. Based on its natural existence as Propane & Butane, Liquefied Petroleum Gas has a high calorific value, is less polluting due to its low Sulfur content and can be used in many different ways as an energy-efficient solution.

Taking advantage of the new rules that came about in 2001, we built our first LPG storage and bottling plant in Hattar Industrial Estate near Haripur in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Due to our LPG filling plant’s strategic location by being next to M-15 the 180 Km long Hazara Moterway, huge LPG markets in the hilly areas of Abbottabad, Mansehra, Balakot, Muzzafarabad, Galliyat and province of Gilgit Baltistan have become closer to our plant. Our distributors appreciate this closeness because it gives them the advantage of lesser freight costs and boosts their profit.

For some years the LPG industry went through changes that shaped the future of this eco-friendly fuel. True to our corporate slogan, indeed LPG has become the Fuel for the future.

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from Sarhad Gas is cleaner, safer, and higher in energy, has infinite shelf life, and is portable. Our expertise combined with our partnership approach, means we can deliver Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in tankers, tanks and all types of cylinders suiting your exact needs, right at your doorstep.

We set up our LPG storage and bottling plant at Hattar Industrial estate, Haripur in 2007. Our LPG bottling plant is strategically located close to the KKH and the new Hasanabdal – Mansehra Motorway. Our plant is close to huge LPG consumption markets of Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK yet only 65 Kms from Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital. Our plant can fill more than 65 Tons of LPG per day in a single shift. Considering rapid increase in household population in the Hazara division we have kept provision for future expansion of storage to 300 Tons.

Our LPG is branded and marketed as Sarhad Gas. We regard our distributors as our business partners. Our unique color ensures LPG is kept safe at lower pressure.

SGL will design, construct, deliver and install LPG storage tanks and manifold systems of any size or capacity for businesses where natural gas is not available or has become scarce. Although we, at Sarhad Gas, specialize in meeting energy needs of Pakistan’s enormous household market, we have recently entered the new business of LPG Auto dispensing units in major cities of Pakistan.

Our expertise and advanced technology combined with our partnership approach, means we can deliver Auto Gas (LPG) from Sarhad Gas as a clean and reliable fuel for your vehicles. Although vehicles running on petrol are much cleaner than in the past, they remain one of the most significant factors in air pollution. Vehicles running on LPG produce fewer harmful emissions associated with traditional road fuels. In comparison with petrol, LPG is 60% cheaper has higher octane content, no lead, has higher combustion therefore no knocking, extended engine life, and less wear and tear. The environmental advantages of auto gas for vehicles are indisputable. We have developed Pakistan’s first ever LPG driven motorcar on international standards with locally produced equipment.
